Volunteer Opportunities with the Trail Center

     Since the Trail Center has moved to an all-volunteer structure, the organization's day-to-day operation has largely fallen to the Board of Directors. We are looking for help in two areas in particular: administrative help and outreach/volunteer coordination.

Office Coordinator: Provide information to individuals seeking information about trails in the San Francisco Bay Area. Organize incoming mail and other papers; send out and process membership renewals.
Req. Skills: Good organization and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy and good phone presence.
Number of Hours/Month: 5-15
Location: Trail Center office.
Outreach/Volunteer Coordinator: Help organize events; contact potential volunteers and send out thank-you notes following trail events; provide information to individuals seeking information about trails in the San Francisco; occasionally table at outdoor fairs or other events.
Req. Skills: Good interpersonal skills. Good knowledge of Bay Area trails and parks. Computer literacy and good phone presence.
Number of Hours/Month: 5-15
Location: Trail Center office or at home

     We are also looking for an Accounting Advisor who could provide bookkeeping and accounting services on an on-going and regular basis. We are looking for someone with good bookkeeping and accounting skills, ability to follow through, and attention to details.
